Selection Criteria

1.Be able to graduate on time in 2023 as required;

2.Understand and be friendly with China, and have a certain understanding of Chinese culture;

3.Comply with laws, regulations and school rules and regulations, have good moral quality and behavior, and respect Teacher, there is no bad records of such as violation of laws and disciplines during school;

4.Actively participate in group activities and physical exercise, physical and mental health, and have a good overall quality;

5.In principle, during the school period, you should have obtained one of the following award:

(1) “Excellent Scholarship for International Students” award by the Chinese Scholarship Council;

(2) Shanghai Jiaotong University “Star of International Students”;

(3)Chinese Government Scholarship award by the Chinese Scholarship Council;

(4)Shanghai government scholarship;

(5) Other school-level or above-level honors, or has outstanding performance in one aspect, with strong scientific research ability and has outstanding achievements.

6. GPA shall not be less than 3.0;

If the material is found to be fraudulent after review, the qualification for this review will be cancelled and processed in accordance with the corresponding school discipline and rules.

Material Submission

1. Registration Form for SJTU Excellent International Post-graduate Students；

Double sided, signed by the supervisor and print in duplicate.

2.Application summary of excellent international graduate students of Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2023；

Attachment 2-The Summary Sheet of the 2023  Awards for SJTU Excellent International Post-graduate Students.xlsx

3.The story of 2023 Excellent International Graduate Students’ Growing up. The specific requirements are in

Attachment 3.docx；

4.Transcript (No need to provide, will print uniformly);

5.Copies of the award certificate at the school level and above;

6.Other certification materials: 

(1) Paper: A copy of the published academic paper, including the cover, catalogue and article home page.

(2) The acceptance notice or acceptance letter of the paper, which shall be signed by the supervisor.

(3) Patent or other winning materials: submit a copy, the college will review the original.

Selection Method

1.School of Mechanical Engineering first audit the materials.

2.Select two students to recommend to the school through interview (if candidates more than two students).

3.International Student Service Center audit the materials.

4.Determine the candidate list and publicize it in the whole school for 3 working days.
